Confidence

The butterflies in your tummy when you have to make a presentation in a class of 100 students. The terrifying moment when you have to stand up and make a speech in front of intimidating individuals. If there is anything I seriously need to work on, is the ability to exude confidence in and around social circles. I see myself as the natural, shy and reserved observer in a group of people I am not accustomed to. What is it about the simplicity of being confident that makes it the hardest task ever? Seriously, how do some people get away with it?

I believe that self confidence comes from the realisation of your self worth. It would never mean anything if you embraced your insecurities instead of yourself. You are an individual, sophisticated, unique and unchallenged. There will never be another you. God created you in His divine image and to Him the glory belongs.

Let others talk you down all they want, but all you should know is you have the power to become remarkable and recognised if you stopped caring about what the world has to say. They will always have an opinion. See yourself as a successful being capable of anything and everything good. In no time, your light of confidence will blind those who never believed.
